Oil pan hitting rack

I installed my 5.3 motor for fitting the other day on my 66 and when all is said and done the oil pan is barely resting on the rack. I am running a heidts front end with manual rack. F-body oil pan. Dirty dingo adjustable motor mounts. Short and wide type energy suspension motor mounts.

I just need about 1/4" to get the pan off of the rack. Im debating how to go about doing that. My idea is to make spacer plates to go between the dirty dingo and the energy suspension mounts and get slightly longer bolts. Has anybody else run into this problem? If so how did you fix it? and if there are any suggestions out there for better ideas im open to them. I dont really want to have to cut on my front end, since it is painted already. Thanks!

I may have to change the plates. I got the adjustable motor mounts because I knew the ability to adjust the position of the motor forward/backward would be nice when trying to fit a new engine into an old car. The problem is, as the motor sits now, the only adjustment possible would be to slide the motor toward the rear of the car. The motor is already forward as far as the mounts will allow. It is almost touching the firewall right now, so i actually cant move the motor forward or back. I am a little dissapointed with the dirty dingo motor mounts. I also cant use my low alternator mount with these mounts either.

I just looked at the number on the bottom of my pan. Its GM #12614822 which appears to be an LH8 pan. It does sit quite a bit lower than my cross member, so i'm a little concerned being that the car is lowered. I may have to switch it out for an autokraft pan or something with more clearance.
