Does this look right? I just installed this clutch peddle and it seems too low.

Is the clutch peddle suppose to be this low??

This is a side view. It only has a short travel distance.

This is the stop that is keeping it from returning higher.

Does anyone have any pics of their installed clutch peddles on a 67?

its wrong, not gonna work like that, the clutch pedal should be parallel to the brake.have you got an assembly manual? the best 20$ youll ever spend,it will show you in diagrams how to assemble a nova everything almost for some things like windows you need a chassis manual, another wise investment if your gonna be doing a lot of wrenching on yer ride, good luck

I may be wrong, but you may have some earlier peddles than a 66 or 67. If my memory serves me correct you can use these you just need to cut the bracket off and reweld the stop in the correct location.

That's weird. I just did the same thing in my 69 and I don't have that stop. Mine is parallel with the brake pedal. I used the automatic "bracket" as well. Possibly a variation or something they removed going to the 3rd gens?

He is missing the rubber stop. That would make the pedal even lower! He must have the wrong pedal. Shortening the pedal is the only other choice . Make sure you get the rubber before figuring out how long to make it [or it will clunk]

I used a 94 camaro donor and adapted to nova mount. I did away with park brake handle and put in Honda foot operated. You can use different brand and type slave-Mcledo has a hyd throw out brg and there are some made to mount to bellhousing-both are good.
