I have the DD ones on my 67 and love them. Look similar to stock. Personally not a fan of all the little dots (leds)

 

If you want a very bright LED for safety purposes and ease of installation and at a very reasonable price, take a look at these from Rodworx.

I looked at these at Rod Works. They look super at $34 each compared to Dakota digital $169 each. WOW

 

I have United Pacific and am very happy with them.

 

It really comes down to personal preference

 

I bought mine from roadworx for my 66 nova
easy install. instead of plug and play into the oem problematic light bulb connectors I put quick disconnects on them for better contact.
really happy with the way they look.
I'm now looking for led headlights

 

Take a look at the Trucklite Phase 7 led head lights. I will have these in my car one day.

 

I have Dakota Digital tail lights in my 63 wagon. Very well made and super bright.

 

Aren't the Dakota Digital ones just 1 LED bulb per side?

 

Take a video of how they look. It's odd that a lot of rear LED tail lights are made, but no one makes a conversion for the front of a first gen. Seems like a large part of the market is missing.

 

FWIW, I just went on E-Bay and picked up a ton of LED Bulbs in various colors (white, red, orange) and went through and replaced all of the bulbs on my car. Was super cheap and worked like a charm. Of course, I replaced the flashers with digital units as well.

We installed several different brands for customers, but recently have been selling/using the Dakota Digital LEDs. Very well made, bright, and have been working well on the cars we installed them on. I do not use the supplied connectors though.
