The Car was brought to Joe Miller Restorations in Forreston, Ill as a fully painted car with additional work needed in specific areas. Joe ended up correcting imperfections and re-shooting the entire car as well as replacing portions of the trunk floor, floor pans, package shelf and applying the trunk spatter.

Bill,

What can I say, an absolutely awesome car. I knew from the teaser pics she was going to be something special. The back story blew me away and only added to the seductiveness of the the entire build. I'm sure I'm not the only one to say or think this, but I've been mesmerized with the build pics and the over the top detail.

Congrats to you and Tom for taking the time and effort to preserve this, at that time, pinnacle of GM performance for all of us to enjoy. And also the time it takes to share these photos. You should be VERY proud....

Best of luck at MCACN and enjoy for me....

Okay, SNS folks. You will now see that this thread has been moved to the top of the Originality forum as a 'sticky' where it will stay and be easily available for quick reference.

This thread is truly a textbook on L79 restoration by the best in the business, Tom Migut. There are numerous SNS members who have contributed to this build, as well. This thread also contains a lot of good information for those restoring regular 1966 super sports. Thanks to Bill (Vanovafan) and Tom Migut for allowing this thread to be front and center on our site.
