I am now the proud new owner of a 1966 2 door coupe. I was wondering why there seems to be a major difference in the headlight bezels and buckets from a 1966 version to the 1967 version? All of the part numbers seem to be different for the buckets, and will they install in a 66 body??? I just like the style and color breakup in the 67 bezels, but was wondering if it's going to be a major hassle to do a swap? Any help would be appreciated.

So,.....I guess that means the idea is completely out of the question? The fenders are actually different? I had no idea that for such a short period of body style that the fenders were different. I have a lot to learn I quess? Thanks for the information. While we're on the subject, where's the best place to buy new bezels, and not the cheap lightweight stamped out versions like I allready have??? Thanks, lou

Stock 66 Bezels

There is a chance you have Factory stock 66 headlight bezels on your car. They are stamped out of Aluminum. Therefore they are very light.

The 67 Bezels which you seem to like, are cast POT metal and chrome plated. Therefore a much heavier bezel.

Many 66 Nova's have had a complete 67 nose installed on them. It can be done. It just depends on how bad you want it and how much money and time you are willing to spend.
