I have to ask...Do you like the way it looks? If so...Start sanding away and you might need some more resin and material to smooth out some of the lines. The goal is to get it uniform across the whole area.

Ima sand it down real good tomorrow if the weather permits.

Any suggestions on what grain sand paper to use? Do i just go from rough to fine?

 

Out of curiosity is that bondo or fiberglass? If its bondo then I wouldn't dare putting more effort into that thing unless you use it as a mold.

If thats fiberglass your working with right now it looks like it will need some work to get even close to smooth. You'll probably want to start with something fairly coarse. I wouldn't be afraid to start at it with 80 until you get the high spots levelled down. From there you'd probably want to hit it with 120.

 

Nope its Fiberglass. Do i have to do it by hand or can i use a palm sander? Thanks for the reply

 

If you've never done it before I'd say use a sanding board. It doesn't take long to remove too much material. Body work will take a ton of patience. Even with just a bumper. Lots of sanding.
