Edelbrock intake clearance issues

Hey gang. Is anyone having clearance issues with the edelbrock RPM or RPM Air gap intakes? I'm about to buy an intake but want to make sure I can use my stock 65 flat hood. I'm probably going to use a 1 inch spacer with a K&N X-Stream air filter. I'm sure this has been covered before, but I couldn't find anything when I tried searching this section.

You will have no problems...even with the 1 inch spacer.bm

Thanks BM, I wanted to know before I shelled out the loot for either the RPM or RPM Air gap.

You will need a recessed base for that air filter.:yes:

I have the rpm and dont have an issue. Run a recessed lid like mentioned.

Order before Jan 31 and get a $25 rebate from Edelbrock. Add that to the 10% discount from summit and you got a pretty good deal.
