What Eastwood primer wood be better for my car? Epoxy or Urethane from eastwood? The car has paint on it primer and the black stuff that they put on new parts to keep them from rusting. I will be using there paint also Blue Pear looks nice (as far as I can see in the catalog) Thanks
Whatever the feedback here is, I would confirm with Eastwood directly.
They have some disclaimers about certain products not being compatable with others. Prime example is their Chassis Black. Does not work with certain self etch primers, etc. I found this out the hard way.
I am building a high quality driver 63 Nova SS restomod and my painter says to use polyester primer first. Block that out and then apply urethane primer on top and block and guide coat that. It will provide superior adhesion and rust protection not to mention a smooth as glass finish.
