carb spacer whistle?

I installed a 1 inch 4 hole tapperd spacer today! The car feels way more responsive and crisp. But there is a minor whistle sound when I bleep the throttle and I know for a fact I didnt install the procharger yet..lol The whislte sound doesnt happen all the time

The carb does sound alot louder(sucking sound) when I rev it.I thought maybe a vacum leak but no signs of that! Amazing how this little 1 inch spacer can make such a diffrence:beer::beer:

Sounds like a vacuum/air leak. Are you sure the spacer is flat? Put a straight edge on both sides. Did you put a gasket on both sides of the spacer? And last but not least, did you tighten down the carb and hook up all the lines to it? I have heard of this before and there was no problem. A friend of mine had the same thing on his Chevelle after he put in a spacer. It was still whistling when he sold the car several years later.

Mine does the same thing.
I guess it's normal.

Now I have to figure out how can I get my wife to whistle like that spacer?
