The BG280 has a lifetime labor warranty.

Call them, cost of parts and get it repaired.

Hey Al, where the hell did you come up with that? All BG products carry a 90 day limited warranty. Have you ever tried to get warranty work done there?
Go over to YB and talk with the guys that get estimates of $175+ to repair a part that barely cost that much new.

There is a place here in So.Cal that has a line of seals and repair parts, but I can't remember the name! I think I have a receipt in the shop.

Found several repair kits for the 280/400 on e-bay about 8 months ago and rebuilt it myself. Dont waste your time sending it back. Takes too long and it maybe in worse shape then when you sent it.

I do have alittle "in" with them. Every Mazak CNC in the place I installed and serviced for several years. When I installed the first horizontal machining center they were still hand working the holley carbs. Thats what put them on the map. They had eight guys working at individual work bench building carbs to customer specs. Hand grinding the main bodies. And building everything to a T. Now all mass produced built on an assembly line by people dont know the difference between and lug nut or a door knob. The quality shows for sure. Greed kills good business!!

 

There's a guy on Racing Junk .com that sells the seals for the Barry Grant fuel pumps , and the seals are easy to change . I think the seal kit was $12.00 or so .

since friday i've got the new sealkit and my fuelpump doesn't leak anymore;-).
