I ordered this
Edelbrock 8720 Carburetor Spacer

and the carb studs that were included in the kit were to short. Had to buy ARP studs. You would think Edelbrock would have been more careful in preparing this product.

x2. thought it was lame when mine was purchased. not sure why they did that. would be nice to know if other selections come with longer studs. too late for us, but not for others preparing to purchase.

i have a drawer full of those carb studs from buying various spacers over the years for my 74 pontiac gto (ventura hatchback). its like those bozos who sell brake pads but dont put the hardware in the box, dumb.

 

only worse...because these "bozos" are putting hardware in, just the wrong hardware. essentially they are just wasting steel. it's weird since they could save money just by not including them. it's like nobody wins, if you will...

Update my 1" spacer install. Ordered ARP 1" carb spacer studs. They worked perfect. That's 1 problem solved
