Mine is a 3rd Gen but I think they are all the same.
Remove the return spring on the clutch fork.
Loosen the adjustment on the lower rod and remove the rod from the clutch fork and Z bar (bellcrank).
Remove the spring clip and disconnect the upper rod from the Z bar.
Loosen the nut at the frame end of the Z bar and slide it free from the frame bracket.
Pull the Z bar away from the engine, slipping it off of the ball and remove the Z bar.
