Does anyone have any information of tips for removing the yoke from the driveshaft? I would like to disconnect the yoke from the shaft while I pull the transmission to prevent a ton of trans. fluid going all over my garage floor.

You can buy a plastic piece to slide in the tranny at most parts store for a couple of bucks, otherwise you have to pull the driveshaft anyways to remove the yolk.
