I was just wondering if any one remembers this yellow 76 nova custom that was on ebay in or around 2002? It was from Pa. and only had 19,000 mi. It had a black vinal top and bench seat 4 speed. It was very clean appeared to be all original. I just wondered if it was sold and where it went. I hope this jogs some ones memory. Thanks

Update on this Nova

I was going through some things and found a couple photos of one of my favorite Nova's that have been for sale on the "ol interweb". I never found out any information on where it ended up. I do recall, however the aution ended and the bidding stopped at $7,000 Please forgive me for posting in the4th generation nova's colum instead of the ebay disscusions colum. When I started it I didnt know a colum like that exsisted. Feel free to move it if you wish.
On another topic, Walker Texas Ranger reruns on WGN network. The episode "Devil's Turf" will be airing sometime in Dec. Episode 96 features a yellow 1976 Nova SS driven by the bad guy.It features a Tx. vanity license plate "BIGGER". Theres not much information out there about this car either.Check your local scedule for show times and DVR it in case you've never seen it.
Thanks

Interior photo

I can only guess the she's in someone's hand's who will preserve it in it's original form. Unlike my granny's 1990 escort. Which in 2006 sold at her estate auction for $2,000 with only 9,000 miles on the clock. The new owners have racked up 100,000 miles on it last I heard.I know it's just an escort, but still.

Is that the one with the steroid peddlers? Oddly enough, that's the only episode of Walker I've ever seen, and it was probably 10 years ago, and it just happened to have a Nova in it.

Yeah, thats the one. Walker goes undercover at a high school when kids start overdoseing, the car belongs to the drug dealer. it shows up alot in the episode. I would think it would have been more famous. one website refers to it as a 73-74 SS. but not too much info on it... It's been about 10 years since I've seen it as well. I did have it recorded on VHS but I lost the tape. It's rarely shown, so I'm planning on youtubing it and posting the video on here.

That is a good looking nova. I really want to paint my 75 butternut yellow like my 67 chevelle, but I'm thinking of going original and my kids want me to paint it orange. Also my uncle had a 75 nova in the 1980's that was a 350 - 4spd with a bench seat. It wasn't an SS but it was cool.

This is 67 chevelle butternut yellow.l like this color but l had one with that green that was on yours from the factory and it is a beautiful color. Earlier GM codes called it Forest green. It would look awesome with white or gold stripes. By the way, the narrow stripe is 5/8 of an inch above the bodyline and 5/8 of an inch wide a goes on the wheel well lip not above it like l've seen on many repainted ones.

Thanks for the picture, and your thoughts. I have always liked that yellow, and I have seen hints of the original green in the doors, jams, and under the rug and it looks nice. I would like to see one done for an example before I set my mind to it.

This green was the original color on my 76 back in 1980. Hard to tell the true shade as the picture is so old. Sometimes I still think about doing my current Nova this color!

Looks great ! I like the color, it gives me an idea what mine looked like. I really like the white interior also ! I've never seen a white interior in a nova before. Thanks for sharing !

I love white interiors in 4th gen Nova's. By far the most unique, they didn't hold up as well as the black. In fact, none of the colored interiors held up like the black.Must have somthing to do with the dyes they used.

The red 75 SS hatchback above, shows well with the white inside, note the fail on factory placement of the SS stripes. I've seen this mistake made on a few repaints.4thgens is the correct placement. Although the red one kinda grows on ya, seen it at a show in Pa. And fell in love.

Thats a nice car! I dont mind the striping either. One thing I have never seen around my parts much is the hatchback models. When I had my green car my buddy had a Ventura hatchback. I always like them. We use to trade vehicles for days at a time back then just so we could drive something else for a while!
