hi everyone, new to the site. I've been building my 67 SS for about two years now and it's almost done. The only problem so far is the sockets for the courtesy lights is always hot. Even with the door switches opened. Can someone shed some light on this?

This will probably get moved to another forum but until then, Welcome.

When you say "hot" do you mean temperature or voltage ?.

Most GM dome light circuits have a fused constant 12V going to the dome light and then are turned on by connecting a ground.

Hello and welcome to the site :yes: As for your lights? You might need to adjust the little switches on the doors to get the lights to turn off :yes: That's what I had to do to fix that problem

If you mean hot as having 12vlts there Jim is correct.
