Going to start putting my front brakes together this evening. Wilwood says to use locktite on the bolts that hold the rotor hat to the rotor. Then you can also run stainless wire through the bolts heads. Does everybody run the wires or not?

Disc rotor hat bolts

For street use loctite and torque bolts. For auto cross or drag racing loctite,torque and safety wire with .032" stainless wire.

I assumed if it was a required Wilwood would have sent it with the brakes...thanks.

I just used loctite on my wilwood front brakes. Haven’t had any issues.
