Rookie question: How do you take off the windshield wiper arms on a 72?

Trying to find a photo of one for you. K D tools and Lisle both make one I prefer the pliers type over the puller type.

save your money and use a hammer us the claw side, do it slowly! I used it and the wiper blades came off very very eazy! I removed them to cut out the rust around the winshield!:yes:
