Hey, I have a 1972 coupe. The weekend was going well until I dented my drivers side door, badly. Long story short I took the inside interior panel off my drivers door so I could attempt to bang the dent out. It was working, the dent is relatively worked out, enough for me to put some filler in anyway. But I have a new problem:

While I was banging away, my drivers side window dettached from something and now is sitting at the bottom of my door. The window roller has no effect on it, and I can't really get at it because it's between the door skin on the outside, and the metal skin that sits underneath the interior panel on the intside. So I guess I'm going to have to take one side of the door off. How do I do this? Is it easier to take the outer door skin off, or the inner metal out? Do I have to take the whole door off first, and if so how do I even go about taking a whole door off on a 72?
