I picked up a 1972 Nova this weekend. Pics to follow. The subframe is bent on the passenger side. The radiator support barely bolts in. No bumper. Will a 1978 camaro subframe work or does it need to be older. Thanks in advance. I can pick the 78 up for 250.00.

NO --- easy answer

68 - 73 .... u can make a 74 sub-frame work ( mod the front bumper area).

Then --- Front Steer vs rear steer .

Cool site thanks for the heads up. I think I'm going to try and straighten it. Just the last 6 inches is twisted.

There are many used ones out there. I see them on CL all the time. Rusty but straight. They are not hard to refinish on you're own. Powder coat could get costly.

Thanks J. I took some measurements and its straight except the end. If I get a torch set up I think I could straighten it. I'll keep an eye out for one as well.
