Its not a Nova , but I was looking at Chevelles and saw this listing. It looks OK but his description says its Atresian Turquoise?? So I was trying to be of help and sent him a question, thinking he was mixed up on his colors. You can see my question and his reply at the bottom of his listing. Well his reply hit me the wrong way, so I had to respond:devil: I just had too.I know people dont reveal reserves, but I see in the one picture on the windshield, the price says $14,500. I wanted to see if it was the same . I'll bet he doesnt realize you can see that price, and he will remove that picture from the listing.
Why describe something its not? I could see if it was a very desireable SS, with a rare color code on the tags, and someone could restore it to those specs, but this is a plain jane Malibu, which probably is only one of 7,000,0001 produced. Heres the link:

WOW!! Nice reply! I wasnt trying to be smart, I was just trying to help, But you must be a know it all, and pleasant guy! I thought you made a mistake on the color in the listing. Thats all.But since you were rude I'll return the favor. Who gives a chit what color it USED to be? You also can list it as new. It used to be that too!!ha-ha. You also say it can be a show car.?? Thats informative! Any car can be a show car if you dump tons of money and time into it. And I aked your reserve just to see if it was $14,500 like whats written on the window! If so, GOOD LUCK! Wow, I emailed a seller on Ebay about 1 month ago and informed him that the car he was selling was a 73-74 model and he stated that he purchased the car 10 years ago and wouldn't have purchased it not knowing what it was. He had it listed as a 68!

Im surprised its even at 7k right now, maybe 4-5k tops, but 14.5? yea right... And whats up with the paint near the back window? the picture of just the back window from the passenger side of the car, theres 2 stripes of cream color stuff one on the edge of the trunk lid, and the other near the "wing" next to the back window... just curious if anyone had an idea what it could be... and the bottom of that window trim has the same deal... hm

A chevelle malibu in that cond, and all matching numbers will bring 14,5 I see it all day long with some of the old model car dealers in this area ... not to say that its worth that to everybody but they sell em high $$ north east.With the economy it might be harder to get that... Needless to say he was an asshat from what I read.. damn floridiots ... hahahahaa :devil:

hmmm so when i go to sell my truck next year i think im going to say it is black with no scratches and 50 miles on the od. :turn: with a side note that it could def be a show truck and could run a 9 sec 1/4 mile.
