I don't believe I've ever seen this discussed on SNS before, but did 1967 Chevy IIs and Acadians have white shifter knobs with the 4 speed pattern on them? They are shown this way in the 1967 showroom brochures.

Are you talking console or bench seat Bob?

There's a factory 4 speed 67 SD in Winnipeg that I remember seeing around 81-82 that had the regular chrome knob on it in those days. Of course, it could be tough to prove because that is so easily changed.

I have the parts book (which I assume you may have too). Should I check what it says?

I've done a little further research, Carl, and it looks like benchseat 4 speeds were white. In the pics I have, even most of the '66 benchseat 4 speed cars appear to be white. This would make sense. The console cars had chrome knobs with the shift pattern on the console. No console in benchseat cars, so the shift pattern was on the knob.
