I am getting ready to swap a 2006 L33 5.3 into my 65 nova. I have the CBR R&p and lower control arms. As far as I know, I need to use an F body pan and pickup. Can it be from any year or is there a certain range that I need to use? Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Any pan will work, you will just have less ground clearance. Stay away from the muscle car pan, truck pan and 2010 and up Camaro. They are just going to hang too low.

The Holley is making a pan very similar to the f-body in two styles. The 302-1 and 302-2....I think they even make some other styles also.....

I ran into this same issue. I went with a summit pan and a remote filter. It rides flush with the crossmember and clears the steering as well. The Holley pan was a little out of budget.
