exhaust port is square[D ?], header is round, which gasket to use? told you guys i`m going to questions. the car is getting delivered next sunday, leaving for ocean city md thursday, need to get a few things done, like this, the header is rubbing against the steering box.,,,,, thanx.

yea, thanx.this so minimal, i think i can get away with what i did on my `57, with the header off, i ground a little off the steering box with a whizzer. it actually heated the fluid so much, it would seep out of the box, so, old skool guy here, told me to drain the fluid, fill it with wheel bearing grease. tah-dah! but i have to do it, for rubbing against it will surely rub thru.

Gaskets: Remflex. Get them in the port dimensions you need (they have them on their website) since they're a soft graphite material they don't require constant re- torquing, they can be reused, and they're thicker allowing them to conform to irregular or warped flanges better than others.
