I pulled the tires off and getting ready to put the church arms on and didn't like all that undercoating in there so I started scraping it off was wondering what you guys would use to paint under there I was looking at por-15 but I searched and seen some people are not liking it what do you guys think or what did you guys use. I would clean it all up good and then spray the whole inner fender and wheel well with 3M rubberized undercoating. Look nice and clean. Cleans up after a rainy day with soap and water.

I plan on using POR 15 Chassis Black on mine. I have painted some small parts with it and it has a nice satin black finish.

I used bed liner under my hood and if I was going to do the underside of my inner fenders, thats what I would use for sure..

On my 65 I plan on using bedliner ( spray bomb can) on the firewall area of the wheel well.Depending on how this turns out I may use it on the inner fenders in the wheel well area, or I may use black paint. My car will not see daily use.

The hood insulation fits inside the openings. I guess the bed liner makes it stand out more maybe.

Yeah I like the look of the slick black like por-15 I did my other nova with rubber undercoating and now that I have to do it again I like the slick black, looks better. I just heard alot of people talking about it peeling and what not Im going to clean it pretty good just thought I would get some more opinions. thanks keep them comming. Nate :turn:

I'm guessing this has lots to do with prep. I am going to buy one of their 'full' kits for painting my engine.

I did what Slickman did under the hood plus my rear wheel tubs and the whole floor to the back of the trunk........I'm happy with it!:yes:
