I have some old ralley wheels which I thought were 15's. When I actually measured the diameter, it was 16 1/4" (total outside dimension). Can you tell me what I have? Am I measuring correctly? I have some 15" tires I was going to mount on these for my dad's s-10 pickup, which currently rolls the big 14's.

thanks!

Total outside dimension includes the lip which overlaps the tire. I think you're just supposed to measure the clear opening to find the actual size.

Some guy on a truck website I used to visit claimed to have 18" tires on 20" wheels....he was measuring the total outside dimension of the wheel.
