Many Nova front clips are designed to use suspension components from these cars. I have a Heidt's weld in crossmember in my 64 and I actually used almost all stock components from a '78 Mustang ll in the wrecking yard. Even the aftermarket parts are mostly designed to replace the stock 74-78 mustang ll oem parts.

Pinto parts of the same era can also be used. All of the parts are reproduced in the aftermarket and are easy to get new. I was living in California when I converted mine and was able to find used parts pretty easily. In the "rust belt" you may have to use new parts.
