Im doing the whole less is more for my 69, i am doing a heater and radio delete. I have already installed a factory heater delete plate on the dash and removed the heater switches, i also have a really nice radio delete plate. Ive seen 2 kinds, one where no hole was cut for the radio and another were a matching plate covers the hole, i have the plate type, it fits nicely and looks cool but what is used or could be used on the backside to keep it firmly in place?

plates

I used a couple dabs of silicone, not too much so you can get it off if you have too. Been on there for a couple of years now and no problems. Good Luck
I had one many years ago, I remember it having two "posts" molded into the back. Two 1/4" headed screws with large washers threaded into these posts.
