does anyone now the weight diff. between the inline 6 engine and an aluminum headed v8?

Well its an educated guess, i had a 78 with a 250 and then i put in a iron head 350 and the front dropped about a 1/2". i believe the difference is 50-60lbs. if you run aluminum heads you should be real close.

thanks all, that chart is very cool.....

looks like an aluminum intake, heads and water pump will be about the same.....
