I recently attempted to install a new intake manifold, edlebrock performer RPM, on my 350....well the reason I Say attempted is because once I sealed it and torque it down, it would Leak lots of water from one of the water ports on the manifold side. Turns out the manifold was milled incorrectly by the machine shop. Now that that's taken care of, I drained the oil pan in case water fell through and I was amazed by how much water came out. My question is, is it okay to fire up once the oil and filter are changed or is there another step to make sure it will be ok to fire up? HELP!

Yeah get some cheap walmart oil run it get it to temp then dump and do it again after a couple miles. That stuff can be a real pain to get all out.
