Water filter de-ionizer to reduce water spots ?

Anyone ever use one of these and do they work. I seen one on one of the car shows and can't remember who made it. I am so sick of water spots on the paint and glass may be worth a try.

Griot's garage has one in their catalog, not cheep though.
I have a Mr. clean system with a DI cartridge, between that and a California Water Blade I never have to towel dry my car anymore.
I don't personally use one, but a good friend of mine has one and he swears by it. He does not have a problem with water spotting unless he parks his car next to a sprinkler system.:) He uses this one: http://www.autogeek.net/cr-spotless-water-systems.html
I have the CR spotless DIC-20 and it is BAD AZZ! I can wash my black Yukon on a 100 degree day in direct sun and it dries spotless.

It is cheapest at costco plus the costco one comes with a full extra refill. Just a fair warning. If your water is hard you will get about 20 wash's out of the resin then it will need to be refilled. Well worth it IMO!

i have one of these also and they work great although they aren't fast. it takes some time to use one correctly, not a big issue and the ouotcome is great. black cars at the true test and i have several that i use one on.
You don't necessarily have to get a filter system from a car wash manufacturer, but any de-ionizing system that can process large amounts of water will work.

Your right, it takes a bit of time to rinse the tap water off the car with the small spray the DI cartridge puts out, but much less time then if you toweld the car dry instead
