My car had a vinyl top on it when I bought it 11 years ago. The black vinyl top was in good shape but dull. I tried things like Armour All, Back to Black but it just didn't do the trick. But recently a friend recommended 303 products vinyl treatment (see link). This has worked better than anything else I have found. Just wanted to pass it along in case it can help anyone else.

303 is good stuff. Before using a dressing, I spray mine with Chemical Guys "Nonsense" all purpose cleaner, brush it in, give it some time, then brush again, and finally wipe with a microfiber. All purpose cleaners are great at lifting grime out of the texture of the vinyl.

Thanks for the tip... I'll try it before my next application.
