I have a 75 and need to verify two vin #'s to file for my title but I can only find the one by the A pillar. The door jamb one is gone. they said I need a level two vin insp but I'd like to find vin #'s so I know it's not a waste of time to trailor my car to the DMV. Thanks for the help.

Only 1st and 2nd gen Novas had VIN's on the door jam.

4th gen have the VIN on the top of the dash. One place to find a second, hidden VIN is under the heater box (or A/C suitcase). Unfortunately, they have to be removed to see it.

when you say heater box do you mean under the hood or under the dash because both of which are removed from my car, I don't have any heating/ac in my car at all. Thanks for the input.

Engine compartment. The VIN is stamped on the engine side of the firewall near the opening for the heater core.

Got it! The guy came today to do my vin inspection. The title will be sent to me in 45 to 90 days. Yay!
