Has anyone eliminated their vent glass/wings on a Gen 1?
If so, any pics and details.

Shane65 did it on his old ride but he doesn't recommend it. He says the sheetmetal gets too flimsy since you have to cut out the brace that holds the pivot on the vent window.

If you're down to welding up a substructure I'm sure it would be fine but that is a lot of work unless you're good with a mig welder.

67 camaro (has vents)
68 camaro (no vents)
see what they did.

and that car was a Sedan... on a Coupe the forward door/window pillar would need heavy modifying to accept the glass...

it's hard to do on a Coupe, not "as hard" on a Sedan, but still a lot of fab work...
