OK, I just installed a 750cfm Holley vac sec on my Vortec 355 with a 280H. It seems to have more off idle spunk but when I do a rolling WOT it seems like my ol' Edelbrock hopped to it faster. I am thinking that I need to lighten the spring & see what happens. What spring size are you guys running??

There are two yellow springs- a short one and a long one. Please clarify!

I ran the long yellow spring on my old 327 with a 600 VS (I know this info probably does you no good)

I just pulled the spring out of the quick change housing, and it appears to be the long one. Before I swapped in a DP, I had considered switching to a quicker acting spring, but didn't follow it through.

I put in the short yellow spring today & the power comes on almost instantly at a rolling WOT..thanks guys.
