OK, I just installed a 750cfm Holley vac sec on my Vortec 355 with a 280H. It seems to have more off idle spunk but when I do a rolling WOT it seems like my ol' Edelbrock hopped to it faster. I am thinking that I need to lighten the spring & see what happens. What spring size are you guys running??

Thanks

I ran the yellow spring on my 355 with a 750-VS, vortec heads and a ZZ4 cam.
There are two yellow springs- a short one and a long one. Please clarify! :D

I ran the long yellow spring on my old 327 with a 600 VS (I know this info probably does you no good)

I swear by DPs now!!!

So was there a pretty noticable change with the spring swap from the original one?

I just pulled the spring out of the quick change housing, and it appears to be the long one. Before I swapped in a DP, I had considered switching to a quicker acting spring, but didn't follow it through.
