On my engine combo, do you think I should run a vacuum advance distributor, or a mechanical only? It's a 440 bbc, solid roller (249/255 @ .050), 10.5 compression, 4 speed, 4.11 gears. My cruise rpm on the highway is around 3200rpm, and in town is around 2000-2400. Any thoughts? I'm going to buy a new dizzy tomorrow then I can fire her up:devil::devil:

On the street......................vacuum. I think there is a write up on distributors in the "best of" in the drivetrain & performance section.

Street, vacuum, no reason not to. Oh, unless yer wanting to get rid of all that silly mech or vac BS LOL EFI!!! JR
