So most of getting the upper control arms out has gone well. I got the spring assemblies out, However I haven't figured out the best way to remove the 2 bolts that hold the control arm to the front clip. I have a gear wrench but its hard to get leverage on....

I got mine out by going to the front of the car and reaching in from the front rather than trying to do it from the side that I was working on it seems I had better luck that way and i used a ratchet and socket. my engine was in too

Well I got the two closest to the front of the engine bay loose with a breaker bar. Its just a matter of getting clearance between the header and rear bolts for the breaker bar now.

They are 7/16 fine thread you can get them at any hardware store. Originals were splined so they stayed in the cross shaft for ease of assembly but the hardware store bolts will function the same.
