I swapped from a 6cyl/pg to a sbc/th350 well I am lost on this one. The right side of the case below the input/output for the transmission cooler lines there is a port with a threaded bolt hole beneath it....what is that for and what do I put in it or plug it with....thanks

oh ok well it is a manual valve body so do I need to plug that hole if I dont have any thing to put in there or can I leave it open.

you have to plug it, otherwise all the fluid will pour out.

gonna need to thread it and install a pipe plug.

I used a freeze style plug from an Auto parts store. I drove it in with a punch and it doesn't leak.

If the TH350 came with the 6 cylinder and now it is behind a V8 you will have to have the trans upgraded to V8 status. They are different fromt the 6 cylinder type.:yes:
