Looking to get my nova tubbed, but it needs 2 new rear quarters. They have been replaced before, but wernt done correct. Should i put the new quarters on first then send the car out to get the tinwork done or tinmork first. The chassis shop told me to get the tinwork done but i'm worried about the quarter to tub clearance issuses if this is done first. Thanks

I would do the quarters first. I think you would be ok going either way unless the quarters you are replacing are wayyyyy off from damage pushing them in or out. The tin work shouldnt be welded to the inside of the quarters but need to come close enough to seal up the gap between the metal with seamsealer. I have been tubbing mine and have since found that I will be replacing a lower quarter. On mine it really wouldnt make diffrence which one I did first. Try to visualize where the tin in the trunk will meet the quarter and make a judgement call on how much movement there will be when the new quarter is installed.
