The guy flew in today, and helped me sort out the issues with that new A-C system we are developing. I have to be honest- I made a mistake hooking up the inlet and outlet hoses!!!:eek::yes: It was an honest mistake, and the guy was happy to go over everything anyways to make sure it had good charge and the system was operating correctly. Now, I'm just going to do some real basic ducting, lengthen the control wiring so I can mount it up on the dash, and show all you guys what its like to have a cool car without the engine running!!!!! I was so excited for it, I decided to put a fresh coat of paint on the roof of the wagon!!!!

Damned if I got too carried away tonight, playing with the thing! Pictures tomorrow for sure. I bought ductwork at Home Depot, jut to get cool air up into the front. You guys will bust a nut when you see what temporary deal I conjoured up!! ABS sewer pipe, up high running along the roof rails. Wife says its about as white trash as shes ever seen!!:D Cool, air blowing down at my face coming from a sewer clean-out!!!! Matches the look of the car, but make no mistake, it works to get the air up front, so we can evaluate the cooling potential. Derale's already working with a company to manufacture modular ductwork that can be run under carpeting, or up in the headliner. I just don't have any of to play with yet. I'll get out manana and tidy it all up, then we'll shoot a few pictures!

Hey Dale

Talk to them and see if there would be a way to duct the air that blows across the condenser into the car for heat in the winter times. Have some kind of valve to switch from hot and cold. Or does the condenser not give off enough heat?
My Firebird has nothing for heat at all. That would be great if they could get heat out of it as well as A/C

That sounds awesome. Hopefully something like that is a possible spark up. I have no heat either. Tough winter and 100* summers as my car is a daily.
