i have an m-21 that i just rebuild about a month ago or so. and a 11 inch clutch with stock bellhousing. and i am in the middle of building a 486 bbc. im looking to at most be about 600 to 625 lbs of torque. this is for street only. will i be ok or will i end up blowing thing appart? i dont beat my car but i do drive it hard sometimes. what do you guys think? just remember not a race car and it will only see 5500ish. thanks al.

with street tires youll be safe.... if you use some stickies... you'll prolly loose a U-joint before the trans is hurt... but like anything.. you beat on anything long enough.. it breaks....


if you go slamming gears(speed shifting) a bunch... you'll be in the trans soon....
