I have a 63 wagon with a stock 4 lug front end. from what all I have read on here about wheel and tire size I should be able to use 15 x7 inch rims with a 4 1/2 inch back space with 195 65 r 15 tires with out any rubbing on the fenders I have some Wheels that are 15x7 with a 4 1/2 bs and 205 65 r15 tires on them which rub on the front fenders. i have the fenders pushed out a bit at the brace and i cleaned the inside corner of the front edge of the wheel opening where it was a little rough with a file and the passenger side still rubs when I turn so finally my question will 195 65 r15 tires work or is there some difference between a 4 lug and a 5 lug in width?

A 195 tire is 10 millimeters narrower than a 205, and will be slightly smaller in diameter, so it should fit with no problem if you are having a slight rubbing issue.

Oh and there is no difference in sizing between a 4 lug and 5 lug when it comes to tire size.
