according to the news, we're supposed to be seeing some thunder and lightning storms in Norcal too. Nothing yet:no: it rained a little last night but sunny and dry today.
It is said that lightening strike survivors go on to suffer it's effects for years, indeed for the rest of their lives. I am not sure what would be better -to survive it and suffer, or to not survive it.
By the way, if it is lightening near your home, it is better to turn-off the computer, than to chance electrocution do to land lines. It is sort of like the dead cows they find from time to time out in the field. They we're near a fence (barb wire or any other metal fence) when the lightening hit the fence a mile down the road....
The lightening shows are cool to watch... :thumbsup:
