does a 770 holley street avenger require a throttle valve correctr for the 700r tv cable to work correctly?

I bought my 670 Street Avenger a couple of years ago. The manual that came with it states that is is for part #'s 0-80570, 0-80670, 0-80770, 0-80870. The "Installation, Tuning, and Adjustment Manual" states;

WARNING: If you are using this carbeurator with a GM overdrive transmission TH700R4 or a TH200R4, you must use a transmission kickdown bracket (Holley P/N 20-95 and stud (Holley P/N 20-2, 20-38, or 20-40).
Otherwise SEVERE transmission damage WILL result. This carbeurator is not designed to work with any other automatic overdrive transmission.

did you use a holley kickdown stud 20-40 in the tv
stud hole in the carb or install a throttle valve corrector plate SONNAX # AS2-02K (tv corrector plate) on the carb and hook your tv cable to it ?
how is yours hooked up to the carb ?

I got a Holley 20-40 stud and used a Lokar KDP-2700HT TV cable along with a Lokar SRK-4000 throttle/TV cable bracket.
