I know that a trans shield will not fit a 68-74 on a TH350/TH400 without a pretty good amount of modification...But will one of them fit with a powerglide? I know it's overall a small transmission than both of the others, so I wasn't sure if it would fit on a glide. I have a BFH and I'm not afraid to beat the death out of the tunnel, FYI...

So...What kind of shield are you running on your glide with a stock floor?

We just recently (2 months) installed a glide in my 73 and I was told a sheild would fit with minimul beating. We did not install one. I should have done it. Let me know how it goes.

Are you attending the footbrake race in OCT. at Cecil?

Have you looked at the TCI Trans Shields? I run the Blue TCI Shield on my TH400 and dont have any clearance issues. My floor pan is a 74 and dont have any issues around the bell housing area.

I have a tci shield on my 70 with a powerglide and had to massage one little spot on the floorboard, but i feel safer racing with it on there
