Just checking to see who has done this conversion and looking for some feed back? I might have a line on the fan so all I would need is the additional parts to wire the fan up. If anyone has some suggestions I am open to them. I am going this route because it seems to be best way to go when on a tight budget.

I did mine a couple of years ago and am happy as a clam. So far I have only wired the low speed (which pulls somehting like 2700 CFM). It keeps up except on really hot days when I'm pulling a hill or idling in traffic for a long time. Do yourself a favor and download some of the diagrams that people have posted and wire both speeds. I'm geting ready to do that so I don't have to worry anymore.

It is a great fan and VERY reliable. Best of all, it was $20 at my local Pik-n-Pull. Can't beat that!

Oh, Make sure you get one from a V6 car, a wagon, or a Lincoln Mark VII (I believe).
