Hi i am restoring a 67 Chevy ll and i need to take the door windows out, it has vent windows, and not real sure how to do it, any suggestions? . I would appreciate anyones input on anything that has to do with a restoration on a 67. Thanks!

The trick

I assume you have a full frame door - not a hard top or convertible - the interior door panel is off and the regulator (crank assembly) unbolted. Look on the top side of the door structure on around the wing window. There should be a couple of screws there, they may be hidden by the weatherstrip. Remove those two screws. Now, follow the back part of the wing window frame to where it bolts to the door structure. It's also the front channel for the window. Once this is loose there is enough room to get the window out.
