hi nova people need some help!! who sells OE type hangers for 2 1/2 in tailpips for 72 nova ??? getting close to putting car on road for first time in 12 years need help finding hangers . also open to your ideas .:salute:

I think you missed his point!! He's looking for OE hangers, NOT an exhaust system. Quite a difference in price.

My point was to make them aware of our HVH30 hangers that are used in our kits for the 72 Nova. Not sure if they are exactly OE style, but are an option.

thank you for the in put . I was looking for oe type hangers but I will look to se if the ones pypes offers can work for me . also looking for the hanger inside the wheel well and did not see that in your kit joe . once again I am happy for any input that my help get my nova moving down the road .

Take a look at Gardner Exhaust systems at www.gardnerexhaust.com. They carry complete reproduction systems. Not sure if just the tail pipe hangers can be purchased but may be worth a call. They should be able to be used with a 2 1/2" pipe.

Maybe try looking in your year assembly manual and see what part numbers they call out and see if anything pops up in a search.

I know on my 68 with its inline single exhaust system, no one offered the one hanger band clamp for the smaller diameter tubing but I was able to modify and rework some larger ones from a Camaro parts supplier.

update

ok so I ordered pypes # hvh30. this is for the rear most hanger of the tail pipe . not the same as oe but I think I can use them. also ordered the parts place # ex23208n. this set has oe type hangers for dual muffler and also the tail pipe hangers inside the wheel well . still need to get bolts . hope to have done soon . will try to post pics when done.:turn:
