I mike'd my sway bar and it came out to roughly .683. I need to order sway bar brackets. Do I get 1/2" or 3/4" diameter bushings? This is for the front. '66

I just received the 11/16 diameter bushings and they look way too big for the bar diameter. I remeasured it and it is .687. So why is the bushing a lot bigger? I checked to see if the bushing was touching where it's split and it still looks way too big. I looked on dorman site and they don't have any 1/2" size. So should it be a 5/8" diameter bushing?
