The weather forcast for Saturday caused me to move up my visit to Friday.

I got to the parking lot around 10 AM and the line of sellers for the swap meet area stretched from the entrance gate to well past the length of the drag strip.

I do not know why they don't let them in earlier.

I ventured over over to the other side of the track, where the "new parts" venders set up. The activity was very slow.

By the time I returned to the regular swap meet area, most of the sellers were in place.

I found a nice set of flat caps for my ralley wheels and a Nova plate for the front of my son's 68 Chevy II.

I the Pate swap meet in Tx at the end of the month will be much bigger.

memphis

Hey JR. We left friday afternoon after we heard the forecast of rain for saturday. Ended up going to the crimson tide A-day game on saturday though and just missed the rain there.

I ended up with some good deals on that 65 trim I showed you. An eyebrow and two headlight rings and a rear mirror and bracket. Picked up some repo door handles too.

Where is the swap meet you are going to saturday located at?

Saturday was fine. The weather man had it all wrong, but Sunday was a wash. I waited till Sunday morning and it was park at your own risk in the mud. Vendor participation was way down this year, or maybe it was the rain.

JR, where were you?

I was next to the fence on the right beside the bleaches as you enter the swap area next to the bleachers. Not the big front next to the road area.
If you looked at that red 67 that was for sale for $ 32,000 on the left side of meet as you come in that area, I was across the paved little road from it.
