Well I've been trying to help my buddy decide on a set of heads for his 84 Camaro and we can't decide between a set of Edelbrock or Summit heads. The Edelbrocks have a 64cc combustion chamber, 170cc intake runner, 65cc exhaust runner, and a 0.575 max valve lift. The Summit heads have a 62cc combustion chamber, 170cc intake runner, 69cc exhaust runner, and 0.480 max valve lift. He will be running a Lunati cam with 227/233 duration @ .50 inch lift and Summit 1.5 ratio roller rockers, 2,500 RPM converter, and 670 Street Avenger. Which of these heads would best compliment this setup? The Eddy's are $1099 per pair and the Summit heads are $791 per pair.

If your going cheap on the street and your cam lift is .480 or lower then summit is the way, i like eddys too but $300 can be spent on more parts, plus summit will back them anyway. dont see a real difference other than the lift spec.
